The Rosé Picnic is returning to the Canadian Film Centre, nestled within Toronto's prestigious Bridle Path on the historic Windfields Estate—following last year's glowing feedback on this stunning manor property. Cobblestone walkways, manicured boxwood hedges, and charming apple trees create a premium outdoor setting that feels like a countryside escape right in the city.
Minutes east of Yonge Street and south of the 401, with easy public transit access, the estate's lush gardens and expansive outdoor areas make it the ideal setting to relax, sip, and celebrate. Founded by acclaimed filmmaker Norman Jewison, the 25-acre estate is also a hub for creativity and a sought-after backdrop for Hollywood North productions. It has hosted Starz's American Gods, CBC's The Great Canadian Baking Show, BBC's Orphan Black, and many more, giving the grounds a cinematic, picture-perfect charm.

Award-winning DJ and producer, DJ Fizza, is one of Canada's most sought-after female DJs! DJ Fizza seamlessly blends genres from Hip-hop, R&B, House, and Top 40, creating unforgettable experiences on the dance floor. Barbadian band 2 Mile Hill has shared the stage with some of the world’s most celebrated and talented stars: Angie Stone, Damian Marley, Erykah Badu and Sizzla to name a few. Formerly called NexCyx, a name they dropped in early 2016, they’ve also racked up awards and accolades at home in Barbados, and internationally from MTV, Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton and RyanSeacrest.com. But this is only part of their story. Their ability to fuse Caribbean vibes with an urban pop sound gives their music an infectious energy that is always guaranteed to be a staple on local radio and rock audiences around the world. In addition to making music, the band is also the founder of the island’s biggest acoustic music festival, Mahalia’s Corner.

The award-winning Chef Javon Cummins is at the culinary helm of the epicurean-focused Apes Hill Barbados. No stranger to the world of culinary competition, Chef Cummins has competed successfully against chefs from all over the world and has amassed many medals over the years. Naturally creative, his career has been defined by his imaginative and skilled art of food presentation.
Chef Creig Greenidge, owner and Executive Chef of CM Catering and Chef Creig’s Restaurant, is the 2016 Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) Rum & Rhythm Chef of the Year and the 2016 Embassy Chef Challenge winner, 2018/2019 (CTO) Rum &Rhythm people’s choice Chef of the year and The Barbados 2022 Wuh Gine on People’s choice Chef of the Year. On his first try in 2005, at the age of 25, he was then the youngest chef to win the Barbados Culinary Competition, copping the title of Barbados Chef of the Year.
Trevon’s entry into the culinary world was much like the start of any great meal, building anticipation from the first bite. Seamlessly transitioning from a young boy experimenting in his mother’s kitchen, to serving as the Sous-Chef at The Cliff Beach Club (one of Barbados’ top fine-dining restaurants) by age 21, one can’t help but be excited for what is next on Trevon’s plate. Touring the globe as Barbados’ culinary ambassador, Trevon has amassed a selection of the awards – Barbados Chef of the Year, Award winner at Taste of the Caribbean and Hans Schenk Commemorative Awardee. His achievements, his experience, his tutelage and life experiences have paved a path to continued development and unimaginable success for Trevon.

Alexander Chandler, professionally known as Alexander DaVinci, is a two-time international gold medallist and one of Barbados' most distinguished mixologists. A graduate of Top Shelf Academy, Alexander draws inspiration from Barbados' culinary traditions to craft cocktails that transform local flavours into elevated experiences. He has proudly represented his island across the globe—from France and Scotland to Dubai and the United States—and has earned top honours including Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association Bartender of the Year 2024, Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association's Best Non-Alcoholic Cocktail, and a gold medal at Taste of the Caribbean.
